Visit made to CETI as part of the workshop: Consideration of Environmental Issues in Military Operations

On 30 May 2014, CETI was visited by the members of the United States European Command (US EUCOM), members of the Ministry of Defence, the Army of Montenegro and the Croatian Armed Forces.

The visit was organized within the framework of the workshop: “The consideration of environmental issues in military operations” held on 29 and 30 May in Podgorica. The aim of the visit was to familiarize with the work of CETI, and discuss possible forms of cooperation. As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Executive Director of CETI Nada Medenica, who introduced participants to the history, organizational structure and principles of work of CETI. They exchanged ideas, impressions and experiences. In the second part of the visit, a tour of the laboratory of the Centre was organized, where visitors received more detailed information from employees in the laboratory.
